We provide comprehensive care for infants and children with epilepsy. Our Program includes specialty-trained Pediatric Epileptologists who oversee a large clinical service. Routine diagnostic testing including pediatric electroencephalogram (EEG) and state-of-the-art brain imaging is available at both our Primary Children's Hospital location and at the Riverton Outpatient Services Clinic.
In addition to diagnosis and medical management, our Faculty has expertise in the following areas:
- Epilepsy Surgery
- Vagal Nerve Stimulator
- Ketogenic Diet
Our facilities include two outpatient EEG labs staffed by trained EEG technicians, an inpatient Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and a Ketogenic Diet program.
Through our Epilepsy Surgery Program, we offer a wide range of specialized testing modalities, including neuropsychological testing, fMRI, WADA tests, DTI imaging, and PET and MEG imaging.
In addition to our clinical mission, we are dedicated to Research and Medical Education. Our Epilepsy Program participates in multi-center trials and in both resident and fellowship level training in pediatric epilepsy.
