Preconception to Perinatal Outcomes (PPO) Study

The Utah Children’s Project (UCP) Preconception to Perinatal Outcomes (PPO) study follows couples who are currently trying to get pregnant or plan to soon.

This study’s purpose is to gain a greater understanding of how environmental exposures from before, during and after pregnancy can impact the health and development of children. Your participation could contribute to the improvement of the health and well-being of children for generations to come.

Participation in PPO involves an electronic survey, cycle tracking, and home biospecimen collection. Compensation is provided. Those who become pregnant will be invited to enroll in the Environmental Influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO) Program.

The study is not currently enrolling new participants, but plans to resume in Spring/Summer of 2025.
