Navigate the Grant Submission Process
The Pre-Award Office is available to Pediatrics faculty and works closely with investigators to navigate the grant submission process. They aid in application regulation and compliance analysis; budget development; subcontract processing; proposal coordination; and criteria development and review. From subcontracts to multi-center proposals, they are here to enhance and improve the submission experience to produce high-quality and competitive proposals.
The Pre-Award Office works in tandem with the Division-specific Post-Award Financial Management team to ensure that once an award is granted, the process smoothly transitions from Pre- to Post-Award. They also provide guidance, as needed, through the lifetime of the award (e.g., progress reporting, public access policy compliance, etc.).
The Pre-Award Office serves as a liaison between the multitude of Research Administration entities throughout the University, including the Office of Sponsored Projects, Clinical Trials Office, Institutional Review Board, Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee, Technology & Venture Commercialization, etc.
