About Me
I am from Rapid City, South Dakota and completed both medical school and residency at the University of South Dakota. Choosing the University of Utah for my NICU fellowship training was an easy decision. The program is collaborative, provides broad exposure to neonatal pathologies, and has impressive research support for trainees. My research interest is in global health, and I am in the Master of Science in Clinical Investigation program. I will do research in Nepal with my mentor Dr. Allie Judkins. The Salt Lake City community was also a drawn with its easy access to the outdoors and so many ways to adventure! My husband and I enjoy trail running, hiking, and stand-up paddleboarding.
