  • About Me

    I grew up in small-town Oklahoma, and received a bachelor's in Biochemistry at the University of Tulsa. I attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma and met my husband while playing soccer in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We then moved to Memphis, TN, where I completed my pediatrics residency training and we had our first child. We moved with our toddler across the country for my Pediatric GI training and are loving everything about Salt Lake!

    Interests & Hobbies

    All things sports! I'm on a sand volleyball team with my co-fellow Brandon and my husband. I also play soccer and pickleball. I enjoy hiking the Utah mountains and trails with my husband, toddler, and two dogs. We also love to cook homemade meals, try new wine, and explore local museums.

    Why Utah?

    The faculty and fellows were so kind and already felt like family on my interview day. The size of the program was exactly what I was looking for (not too big and not too small), we see everything regarding GI pathology, have a robust hepatology program, and also have a pediatric advanced endoscopist. When you combine all of that with the beautiful (and super close!) mountains and family friendliness of Salt Lake City, it was a no-brainer decision to train here.
