I was born and raised in India, where I completed medical school before moving to the United States after getting married. I completed my pediatric residency at Tucson Hospitals Medical Education Program and then worked as a Pediatric Hospitalist at Tucson Medical Center for almost three years. During this time, I had the opportunity to mentor medical students as well as pediatric and family medicine residents, which deepened my passion for medical education. Throughout residency, I was actively involved in academic activities, including publishing a book chapter, authoring review articles and presenting posters. These experiences inspired me to pursue a fellowship to further strengthen my skills in medical education and QI. Outside of medicine, I’m a proud mother of two wonderful daughters and a golden retriever.

Interests & Hobbies
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, our two daughters, and our dog. As a family, we often take road trips and go hiking together. I enjoy running and CrossFit. At home, I love cooking Indian food and experimenting with new recipes.
Why Utah?
I chose Utah because I was genuinely impressed by the program during interview day. The faculty and fellows were genuinely enthusiastic and passionate about their work. This is a well-established program within a large hospital, offering a supportive environment and ample opportunities to individualize the fellowship experience to align with my specific interests.
