About Me
As you can see my name is very long, my first last name is my father’s, and my second is my mother’s this is because I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and it’s part of our culture. I did my undergraduate in the University of Puerto Rico; where I obtained my bachelor's in science degree with a concentration in Cellular Molecular Biology. I went to medical school in the Caribbean at the University of Medicine and Health Sciences, on an island called Saint Kitts and Nevis. While in medical school, I completed a Master in Business Administration with Health Care Management Concentration from Davenport University because I developed an interest in the business part of medicine. I was then adopted by El Paso, Texas where I completed my Pediatric Residency at Texas Tech University.

WHY UTAH?
I have never been to Utah before moving here. Having done virtual interviews was challenging, however, the warmness of the people and the quality of the program were what drove me here. The top-notch education, the camaraderie, and the family environment that the program has is something that you could appreciate with a virtual interview. Now that I am here I feel reassured I made the right decision, I love Utah!
