  • About Me

Completed undergraduate with a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry at Lindenwood University. Completed medical school at Kansas City University-Joplin. Pediatric residency at Oklahoma University-Oklahoma Children's Hospital. My clinical interests are evidence based medicine and clinical practice guidelines as well as pathways and utilization within EMR systems. In residency I did research related to the 2021 AAP Guidelines for Febrile infants and the accuracy of urinalysis in predicting positive urine culture and local adherence to the guidelines in relationship to obtaining urinalysis and urine cultures. I also have interest in quality improvement. Outside of medicine I have 2 dogs, love to read and nerd out over a good book. Fun fact I was also a college gymnast so I continue to enjoy watching gymnastics on TV, even while at the hospital, during gymnastics season.
