About Me
My pediatric residency was at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center - El Paso. I grew up in Las Vegas, NV and went to undergraduate school in North Dakota on a soccer scholarship. I went to medical school at Ross university and residency in El Paso, Texas. I couple's matched in Utah for fellowship with my beautiful wife Dalhila, who's in pediatric endocrinology. Moving to Utah was a great way to get back to the mountains and enjoy the outdoors, as well as be closer to family. I love all things sports and spending time with my goldendoodle Kylo Ren.
My research interest is in basic science and the brain. I am working with Dr Camille Fung and Dr Con Yost to explore how hypertensive disease of pregnancy and IUGR affects the developing brain. I also really enjoy using the ultrasound and hope to continue honing my procedural and diagnostic skills with ultrasound guidance in the NICU.
