  • About Me

I was raised just outside of Philadelphia, PA and attended medical school at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in New York City. After 10 years there I wanted a change and moved west for more mountains and to be close to family in California. I enjoyed residency at the University of Utah so much that I chose to stay for fellowship. My current research interests include respiratory physiology, point of care ultrasound, and the application of new technology in the NICU. With mentors, Dr. Michelle Yang and Dr. Brad Yoder, I am studying the application of electrical impedance tomography (EIT) on extubation and respiratory treatments in neonates. I love this fellowship program for the high acuity offered at two very different NICUs and the welcoming and invested faculty who create a great learning environment. Outside of the hospital you’ll find me either climbing or skiing in one of Utah’s many canyons.
