About Me
Hometown: San Antonio de Areco, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Undergrad/Medical School: Universidad de Buenos Aires
Career interest/interests within pediatrics: Hematology/Oncology, Immunology, Medical Education
Hobbies/interests outside of work: Hiking, mountain biking, camping, and just generally enjoying the outdoors with my dogs. I also enjoy baking and doing yoga.
Why Utah Pediatric HemOnc: It was very clear during my interview that there was a cooperative work environment, and that fellow education is truly a priority. It immediately clicked that this was where I wanted to continue my training.
What is your favorite part about our program: Being able to obtain spectacular training while being surrounded by people who are kind and friendly and passionate about what they do.
What is your favorite part about living in Salt Lake City: I am still getting to know the city. But it has so far proven to be a vibrant place, with plenty of food and drink options. And just minutes way from all sorts of fun activities. It seems to be the perfect combination of big city with a smaller town feel.
What cool research/advocacy/education/scholarly work are you participating in: I participated in several QI projects including a fever and central line project.
What is something you didn’t know before coming to Utah that you wish you did: There is essentially no traffic, which was a pleasant surprise!
What are your plans following fellowship: I am still exploring all my options, but I do know that I want to be involved with medical education.
